Lang’s Barbecoa is an exciting new London restaurant. After getting together at
Adam’s New York restaurant Daisy May’s, Jamie and Adam decided to join forces
and open Barbecoa in London ,
celebrating the fascinating relationship between fire and food. The kitchen at
Barbecoa is revolutionary in itself, featuring a variety of ovens and smokers,
from the Japanese Robata grills to the Texan smokers and the tandoor ovens to
the huge fire pits. Meat is naturally the prime focus, all sourced from British
farms and cooperatives and all prepared by the in house butchery team. A
butcher’s shop is adjoined to the restaurant, making the perfect partnership
between shop and restaurant. Tuck into the most amazing steaks, from rump to
sirloin and fillet to Rib eye. Aside from the meat, expect the freshest of
seafood as well as some outstanding seasonal ingredients. And it’s not just the
food that will bowl you over at Barbecoa, the huge glass windows give way to
the most stunning views over St Paul ’s
Cathedral. Jamie Oliver and Adam Perry Lang have really got it spot on with
Barbecoa, a magnificent London
restaurant that has already gained much praise since its opening.

Perched on the 32nd floor of the
Centre Point building in London ’s
West End , Paramount is a superbly stylish and
impressive restaurant and private member’s club. The restaurant itself is now
open to the public and offers an exceptional dining experience in every way.
The views over London
are breath taking, particularly at night when the twinkling lights of the city
create a real wow factor. Inside the dining room is a fabulously stylish space,
designed by the renowned designer Tom Dixon, and has a real contemporary feel
to it. Of course, the amazing views and cool design would count for nothing if the
food wasn’t up to anything so its just as well that the cuisine on offer at
Paramount is first class. The British style menu features an exciting array of
dishes where starters include warm salad of quail, confit potato, green beans,
walnuts and pancetta or double baked Roquefort soufflé with beetroot and aged
balsamic followed by main courses like wild sea bass with potato gnocchi,
samphire and caviar cream or saddle of rabbit, roast leg and confit shoulder,
peas, carrots and grain mustard sauce. Round off with delectable desserts such
as glazed lemon pudding with champagne and raspberry and pistachio sponge.
Although Centre Point isn’t one of London ’s
favourite landmarks, Paramount
is certainly one of its finer restaurants.
so its just as well that the cuisine
on offer at Paramount
is first class. The British style menu features an exciting array of dishes
where starters include warm salad of quail, confit potato, green beans, walnuts

Stone pizza restaurant has really taken the London restaurant scene by suprise. With
pizza restaurants on almost every London
street corner and several large London pizza restaurant chains dominating the
market, Fire & Stone Covent Garden hit the mark with it's very original
pizza recipies and jaw-ping, fabulous design throughout the restaurant. Pizzas
are all cooked in the gigantic wood-fired oven and really look like no other
you've seen. Influences range from Asia to the Americas and includes pizzas
such as the New York - crispy oven roasted smoked bacon, Mozzarella, Fire &
Stone's tomato sauce, garlic & rosemary roast potatoes, caramalized onion

Considered amongst the world’s
best restaurants, the Michelin starred London restaurant St John serves up true
British cuisine with amazing skill. Situated in what was once a smokehouse in Smithfield , the famous London meat market, St John has done nothing
but impress both critics and diners alike since Fergus Henderson and Trevor
Gulliver opened it back in 1994. The dining room is a simple space with white
washed walls and bar area complete with 20 foot high skylights and the former
packing rooms provide an elegant private dining room. The bakery has now been
moved over to St John Bread & Wine in Spitalfields, however fresh bread and
other baked goods are still sold at St
John too. The menu at St John changes on a daily basis and also
changes from lunch to supper, always featuring fresh, seasonal British
ingredient and dishes are purposely kept simple. Henderson ’s “nose to tail” concept, meaning
that one should use every part of the animal in cooking, is prevalent
throughout his menus and is what sets this wonderful restaurant aside from the
rest. You could start for example with cured beef, green beans and pickled
walnuts or braised squid with red onion and follow with grouse or mallard with
braised red cabbage and then round off with peach jelly and shortbread or
double baked chocolate cake. St John
has stripped back British cooking and taken it right back to its roots,
demonstrating that fancy food, as good as it is, is not always what makes a
Michelin starred restaurant.

Social in Mayfair is an outstanding Michelin
starred London
restaurant opened by the great Jason Atherton, former Executive Chef at Gordon
Ramsay’s Michelin starred Maze. With such a culinary great at its helm there is
much expectation for Pollen Street Social and Atherton delivers in every way.
The Lyndon Neri and Rosanna Hu designed dining room is a bright and airy room
with huge windows, wooden flooring and banquette seating and the standalone
dessert bat is the first of its kind in London, where groups of up to six
people can sit at the bar to watch the pastry chefs create their chosen
desserts, such as a delicious tiramisu with hot chocolate coffee. As for the
main menu, Atherton celebrates the idea of grazing, providing diners with the
opportunity to sample a variety of his exquisitely created dishes such as
escabeche of quail, chicken liver cream, nuts and seeds cauliflower and squid
with clear roasted squid juice roasted halibut with Catalan paella, sprouting
broccoli and pork ham fat and rack of Cotswold lamb, braised shoulder, creamed
spiced aubergine and summer savoury and black olive reduction. Pollen Street
Social is wonderfully informal yet offers some of the finest cuisine in the
capital. This is one hot London
restaurant therefore advance bookings are highly recommended.
